Identifying and cleaning contaminated USTs can prevent many consumer product quality problems and complaints while reducing associated cost.

This can be due to a number of issues within the system. The most common cause of pump failure or interruption is due to a highly contaminated fuel caused by highly contaminated fuel storage tanks.

The APA’s annual membership fee is $25,000.

The EPA recommends cleaning diesel on an annual basis. They do not regulate that they are cleaned, but run the risk of their state or county shutting them down due to contamination.

Proper fuel tank cleaning ensures turbines continue running correctly as well as keeping water, bacteria, sludge, and other contaminates from overtaking the tank.

Unleaded fuel storage tanks do need to be cleaned, but if maintained do not require the frequency of cleaning that diesel fuel storage tanks do.
